About ibenaija

The #ibenaija campaign seeks to promote civic and political engagement among Nigeria youth, aimed at claiming the political space from the post-independence generation of leaders who have failed to develop the country.

We will do this via three activities: policy development, political engagement, and fundraising.

Policy development

Thinking things through

Formulating policy positions and development strategies to inform pragmatic administration and governance.

Political engagement

Getting things done

Mobilizing the grassroots and identifying and backing sound and action-oriented candidates for public office.

Fundraising

Raising funds to pay for things

Taking a programmatic approach to fundraising to cover the costs of policy development and political engagement.
